Honorary Citizenship of Craiova Conferred upon Mr. Vipan Kumar

A proud moment for the Indian community in Romania! Mr. Vipan Kumar was honoured by the Mayor of Craiova with Honorary Citizenship in recognition of his extraordinary courage and selfless act of risking his own life to save a 5-year-old girl child. The honour was conferred on 4 June 2026 in the presence of the Ambassador of India to Romania, celebrating a remarkable act of bravery that reflects the finest human values and further strengthens the bonds of friendship between India and Romania.
