Hon'ble Minister of State Jitin Prasada Joins Indian Community in Singing Vande Mataram During Visit to Romania

During his official visit to Romania, Hon'ble Minister of State Shri Jitin Prasada joined members of the Indian community and friends of India in a deeply moving rendition of Vande Mataram, commemorating 150 years of India's beloved Rashtriya Geet.

The occasion brought together a gathering of dignitaries, community members, and friends of India in a moment of shared pride and patriotic sentiment. The collective singing of Vande Mataram served as a powerful reminder of the enduring spirit and cultural identity that unites Indians across the world, regardless of borders.

The 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram — the song that inspired generations of freedom fighters and continues to stir the hearts of Indians everywhere — marks a significant milestone in India's cultural and national heritage. Commemorating it on Romanian soil, in the presence of a senior Government of India minister, made the occasion all the more meaningful for the Indian diaspora in Romania.

The Embassy of India to Romania and Moldova was honoured to host Minister Jitin Prasada and remains committed to strengthening the bonds between India and Romania at every level — diplomatic, cultural, and human.
