Embassy of India and FICCI Organise B2B Event on Mobility Partnership in Bucharest

The Embassy of India, Bucharest, in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), organised a B2B event focused on Mobility Partnership, bringing together leading workforce and recruitment companies from both India and Romania.

The event drew enthusiastic participation from key players in the recruitment and talent mobility sectors, fostering meaningful dialogue on the opportunities and shared challenges that define the India-Romania workforce landscape. Engaging discussions highlighted avenues for collaboration in recruitment, skilled migration, and sustainable workforce solutions — areas of growing strategic importance for both countries.

The gathering was honoured by the presence of H.E. Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Ambassador of India to Romania, whose insights lent depth and direction to the deliberations. Also in attendance was Mr. Vijay Mehta, Founder and Chairman of Medcom Group, whose perspective on the evolving dynamics of talent mobility enriched the conversation further.

The event reaffirmed the growing and productive partnership between India and Romania in building sustainable workforce solutions and strengthening bilateral economic cooperation — a partnership rooted in mutual respect and shared opportunity.
