Ambassador Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra called on H.E. Mr. Mihai Popșoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, for a wide-ranging and productive exchange of views on the full spectrum of India-Moldova bilateral relations.
The discussions focused on concrete avenues for boosting economic cooperation between the two countries, with particular attention to investment opportunities in key infrastructure sectors including highways, railways, energy, and ports. Both sides also explored prospects for enhanced collaboration in agriculture, education, and other priority areas of mutual interest.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of India and Moldova to deepening their partnership and building a forward-looking relationship grounded in mutual benefit and respect. As India continues to strengthen its engagement with European partner countries, Moldova represents an important and valued partner in the region.
