Ambassador Mohapatra Joins Mayor Emil Boc at "Zilele Clujului" Celebrations

The Ambassador of India joined Mayor Mr. Emil Boc at the vibrant "Zilele Clujului" celebrations, a wonderful opportunity to experience the rich local culture of Cluj-Napoca while further strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between India and Romania.

The Indian community in Cluj proudly demonstrated its patriotism and sense of belonging while honouring and celebrating its stay in Romania, marking a meaningful display of unity and shared identity within a vibrant local festival.

"Zilele Clujului" is one of the city's most cherished annual celebrations, bringing together residents and visitors alike in a colourful display of music, art, tradition, and community spirit. Participating in this festive occasion offered a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and reaffirmed the warm relationship that has developed between the Indian diaspora and the city of Cluj-Napoca over the years.

The Embassy of India to Romania and Moldova values such engagements with local communities across Romania, recognising the important role they play in deepening people-to-people ties and showcasing the rich diversity of both Indian and Romanian culture.
