The Embassy of India, Bucharest, in partnership with KOL Press, Indigo Hub, and KPTV.life, organised a press conference and diplomatic reception at India House, bringing together opinion leaders and senior journalists from Romania's leading media outlets — including TVR, Euronews, Forbes, G4Media, Kanal D, Realitatea TV, Ziarul Financiar, and Agerpres — to discuss the future of bilateral cooperation.
On the sidelines of the event, Ambassador Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra gave an exclusive interview to Realitatea PLUS, speaking with journalist Ana Maria Păcuraru on some of the most pressing questions in global geopolitics and India's foreign policy.
The Ambassador elaborated on India's long-standing policy of strategic autonomy and multi-alignment — maintaining strong, simultaneous relationships with the United States, Russia, the European Union, and China. He outlined India's vision for the India-Romania economic relationship, highlighting key areas of growing engagement including defence, trade, energy, infrastructure, and education, and the significant opportunities that lie ahead, particularly in the context of the proposed India-EU Free Trade Agreement.
