🔗 How to Apply
Applicants must complete the online visa application form at:

Please select:
- Visa Type: REGULAR / PAPER VISA
- Country: ROMANIA

- Fill in the correct visa category.
- Upload all relevant supporting documents as required for your visa type.
- Upload a professional, high-quality photograph in the online form.
- Biometric submission is mandatory.
After completing the online form, applicants must visit the Embassy in person with:
- Printed online application form
- Supporting documents

- Employment / Entry / Special Category Visas: 7–25 working days
⚠️ Applicants are advised to:
- Apply well in advance.
- Advised to Book travel tickets only after visa issuance.
❗ Important Notes
- There is no emergency visa provision under the India–Romania reciprocity arrangement.
- Emergency transit visas are available only for Ukrainian seamen, subject to additional emergency fees.
- The Embassy does not respond to e-Visa queries.

All individual visa seekers are requested to apply for the Indian Visa and fill in the Application Form. Applicants are requested to go through the Information on Visa categories and required documents. Before making an online application, applicants may go through the instructions on Online Application Form, Photo Requirements, and Process for filling up the online application form [click here]. After submission of online application, a printout of the online filled-in application form duly signed and affixed with a recent color photograph along with required documents, one additional photograph, and the applicable fee has to be submitted at the Embassy on the appointed time. All the applications will be accepted only with a scheduled appointment.
Toți solicitanții de viză sunt rugați să aplice pentru viza indiană completând Formularul de Aplicare. Aplicanții sunt rugați să parcurgă informațiile despre categoriile de viză și documentele necesare. Înainte de a face o cerere online, solicitanții vor parcurge instrucțiunile pentru Formularul de aplicare online, Cerințe privind fotografiile, Procesul de completare a formularului de cerere online [click aici]. După completarea cererii online, o imprimare a formularului de cerere completat online, semnat în mod corespunzător și atașat cu o fotografie color recentă, împreună cu documentele necesare, o fotografie suplimentară și taxa aplicabilă, vor fi aduse la Ambasada la ora stabilită. Toate aplicațiile vor fi acceptate doar în baza programării online.
