Security Deposit

A Security Deposit of Euro 500 shall be deposited by each bidder at the time of submission of the bid. The Security Deposit may be paid either in cash or through bank transfer to the Embassy’s Euro account maintained with BRD Bank, IBAN: RO87 BRDE 445S V803 0277 4450.

In case of payment through bank transfer, proof of payment shall be enclosed in the sealed envelope along with the bid. In case of payment in cash, the Embassy shall issue an official receipt to the bidder against the Security Deposit.

In the case of the successful bidder, the Security Deposit shall either be adjusted against the final sale amount or refunded, as deemed appropriate. In the case of unsuccessful bidders, the Security Deposit shall be refunded in full upon finalisation of the sale process.

The Security Deposit shall be liable to forfeiture if the successful bidder fails to complete the purchase within the stipulated period or withdraws/refuses to honour the bid after acceptance.

Submission of Bids

The car shall be sold to the highest bidder.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope latest by 27 October 2026 at 1730 hrs, in the format given in the document attached to this notice. The sealed envelope should be addressed to:

Note: The Embassy reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to cancel or not award the sale, without assigning any reason. The decision of the Embassy in this regard shall be final and binding. In the event of cancellation of the sale or non-award of the sale by the Embassy, the Security Deposit shall be refunded in full to the respective bidders.
