The Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to H.E. Katalin Kissné Hlatki, Ambassador of Hungary to Romania, for the invitation. He also highlighted a significant milestone in India’s clean energy journey: achieving 50% of its installed electricity capacity from non-fossil fuel sources in June 2025, more than five years ahead of its 2030 target.
During the state visit of Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu to Romania in July 2026, India and Romania agreed to expand cooperation in key areas, including renewable energy and green hydrogen, opening new avenues for bilateral collaboration.
India remains committed to dialogue, international partnerships and strengthening ties with countries across Europe to advance shared priorities and build a sustainable future.
