Ambassador meets with the Rector of "Constantin Brancusi" University, The President of Gorj County Council and the Mayors of Targu Jiu and Baia de Fier to advance India-Gorj cooperation

Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Ambassador of India to Romania, met Ms. Luminița Georgeta Popescu, Rector of “Constantin Brâncuși” University; Mr. Cosmin Mihai Popescu, President of the Gorj County Council; Mr. Marcel-Laurențiu Romanescu, Mayor of Târgu Jiu; and Mr. Dumitru Turbăceanu, Mayor of Baia de Fier, to advance India-Gorj cooperation in energy, critical raw materials, advanced manufacturing, technology, R&I and technical education, with a focus on investment and technology partnerships.
The participation of leading business representatives enriched the discussions. The Ambassador also thanked Ms. Ana Maria for facilitating the Embassy’s engagement with Gorj County.
