Embassy of India Bucharest and the Diplomatic Institute of Romania in association with the Romanian Ministry of Entrepreneurship & Tourism organized a India-Romania Tourism Forum.

Embassy of India Bucharest and the Diplomatic Institute of Romania in association with the Romanian Ministry of Entrepreneurship & Tourism organized a India-Romania Tourism Forum at Bucharest on 1st September 2022. Approx. 30 Romanian tour operators joined the event physically and approx. 40 Indian tour operators attended the event online. Mrs. Liliana Popescu-Bîrlan, General Director of the Romanian Diplomatic Institute delivered the welcome address. Ambassador Shrivastava; Ms. Steliana Cojocariu, Advisor, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism; Mr. Ionut Viziru, Counsellor, Embassy of Romania in Delhi; Mr. Rajiv Mehra, President, Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Mr. Ravi Gosain, Vice President, Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Mr. Kiran Goradia, Adventures Tour, Mr. Calin Pop, CEO, Your Amazing Travel; Mr. Nicu Apostol, Vice-President, Incoming Romanian Association and Mr. Dan Anghelescu, Member of National Association of Tourism Agencies of Romania spoke on the occasion. IATO and Incoming Romanian Association gave presentations on tourism opportunities in India and Romania respectively. Tour operators from both countries gave suggestions on how to increase tourism between India and Romania. The forum ended with a Q&A session.
