On 15 September 2022, ITEC Day was celebrated at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute (IDR). After screening of a film on ITEC programme, Ambassador Shrivastava and Dr. Liliana Popescu, Director General of the institute, delivered the opening remarks. Ambassador briefed the audience about ITEC giving details of various training programmes and premier institutions where ITEC programmes are being conducted. ITEC Alumni, Mrs. Mirela Fosalau and Ms. Estera Tinca, shared their experiences of ITEC programmes. Ms. Gabriela Crețu, Member of Romanian Parliament, General (retd) Bartolomeu Constantin Savoiu, Ms. Hildegard Brandl, entrepreneur and Mr. Saptsheel also spoke on the occasion. The event ended with serving of traditional Indian food and was attended by around sixty guests comprising of Members of Romanian Parliament, ITEC alumni, Heads of Institutions, university students and others.
