An exhibition of Indian handicraft items and textiles was inaugurated at the Alexandru Stefulescu Gorj County Museum on 8 December 2022. The exhibition would be on permanent display in the Museum. In his opening remarks, Ambassador spoke about Indian culture and India-Romania cultural relations. The Director of the Museum, Mr. Dumitru Hortopan, the Mayor of Targu-Jiu, Mr. Marcel-Laurentiu Romanescu and the Vice-President of the Gorj County Council, Mr. Gheorghe Nichifor also graced the event and spoke about furthering the cultural collaboration between India and Gorj County, as Targu Jiu shall be the Youth Capital of Romania in 2023.
