Ambassador participated at event on release of Bhagawad Gita and Upanishad books
Posted on: May 26, 2023 | Back | PrintRomanian versions of Bhagawad Gita and Upanishad were released in Bookfest International Book Fair, Bucharest. The publisher is Editura Herald. Upanishad has been translated from Sanskrit by Prof. Ovidiu Nedu, Sanskrit Expert.
Ambassador Shrivastava participated in the event and spoke about the relevance of the two books in contemporary times. The speakers included Prof. Madeea Anxinciuc, Director of Religious Studies Master’s Programme, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature, University of Bucharest, Prof. Ovidiu Nedu and Mr. Ciprian Baciu, Sanskrit expert. The event was moderated by Mr. Sorin Lucaci.
