SEAFOOD EXPO BHARAT (SEB) 2026
MPEDA, Marine Products Export Development Authority, is organizing the second edition of “SEAFOOD EXPO BHARAT (SEB 2026)" from 1-3 July, 2026, in Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India. MPEDA, The Marine Products Export Development Authority under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, nodal agency of Government of India to promote of seafood exports from India. India is one of the leading seafood exporters globally and currently exports to nearly 130 countries. In the last financial year, the country recorded seafood exports worth USD 7.45 billion.
The Expo will feature exhibition stalls, RBSM (Reverse Buyer - Seller Meet), tasting section, technical presentations, exposure visits to seafood processing plants and agriculture farms. The event will act as a comprehensive platform for stakeholders across the value chain, including hatchery operators, aqua farmers, feed mil operators, aqua farmers, aquaculture machinery manufacturers, fishers, processors, equipment manufacturers, trading agents, technical experts and exporters. The exhibition will host 325 stalls, with participation expected from over 5000 business delegates from India and abroad. Reverse Buyer - Seller Meet (RBSM) is one of the key highlights of SEB 2026. It is a structured business-matching program designed to facilitate direct, one-on-one B2B meetings between international seafood importers and leading Indian seafood exporters.
MPEDA has a successful track record in organising RBSMs, during World Food India (WFI) 2023, 2024 and 2025, as well as Seafood Expo Bharat (SEB) 2025. SEB 2025 welcomed 48 importers from 20 countries, benefiting 130 top Indian seafood exporters and resulting in 807 one-on-one business meetings were took place during the RBSM.
